I.        F30 - Retain all players featured in a competition/season

Feeds affected: F30

Release date: 18th July 2016

Description of change: We will be changing the structure of the F30 feed to retain all players that have featured for a particular team during a competition and season. All of the players that make at least one appearance will remain in the F30 for the entire season (previously they would have dropped out of the feed if transferred elsewhere mid-season or removed from an international squad during the qualifying campaign).

Key benefits: Players will no longer be removed from feeds during a season by mid-season transfers or international players being dropped from a squad. It will make it easier to rank performers in the same squad.

Sample file: Aston Villa and West Brom to view sample feeds for a player who plays for two teams in the same competition (Joleon Lescott - player_id="7551").

K.      Add points gained/dropped from losing/winning positions

Feeds affected: F8, F9, F30

Release date: 18th July 2016

Description of change: We will add two new categories to the feeds that indicate the number of points gained from losing positions and points dropped from winning positions by teams during a match and throughout a season. They will be available at the end of the match.

In the individual match feeds, the attributes will indicate if a team has earned a draw or win from a losing position or managed to throw away a winning position and end up with a draw or a defeat.

pts_gained_losing_pos will indicate any points won having been in a losing position during the game.

pts_dropped_winning_pos will indicate any points dropped having been in a winning position during the game.

pts_gained_losing_pos can have three values:

0 = team has lost the match or were never losing during the game (0 value will be suppressed)

1 = team was losing during the game and the final result was a draw

3 = team was losing during the game but they have won the match

pts_dropped_winning_pos can have three values - 0,2,3

0 = team has won the match or were never winning during the game (0 value will be suppressed)

2 = team was winning during the game and the final result was a draw

3 = team was winning during the game but they have lost the match

In the F30 feed, an accumulation of the season will be available to indicate how many points they have gained/dropped over the course of a competition or season. The two categories will be named as such in the F30 feed:

"Points Dropped from Winning Positions"

"Points Gained from Losing Positions"

Sample file: F9 | F30
